Team Adrian
By dempster | May 9, 2008
When I got to LA we (Lovett Management) had to concentrate on getting over a few humps. First I had been told I Had to stick my face in the mud for a bit. We decided a good way to do that would be to get my SAG card…the voucher way. Funny, I used to love playing in the mud as a kid but this just did not seem as much fun. I finally booked a SAG Extra gig for a movie called called ”Cat City” starring Rebbecca Pidgeon and Brian Dennehy in Palm Springs. I had been out the night before with a friend who surprisingly knew the producer, Pat Stack. I pulled up to set and introduced myself to Pat and promptly informed him that I needed to have three days on his set and that if he helped me out I promised it would prove to be very profitable to him as I would be indebted to him and in the future will become incredibly successful. He looked down at me from at least a foot above me and laughed. Looking back, I see that he wasn’t really laughing at me, he was laughing at the pair of giant bull balls that were hanging between the legs of a petite, bright eyed girl from South Dakota. For whatever reason he took me under his wing and boy do I feel lucky. He enabled me to get my SAG card, my first IMDB credit and put me in a series for Strike TV. So team Adrian now consists of my family, Temple University, Jason Kim, Steve Lovett, and Pat Stack.

How Did I End Up Here?
By dempster | May 9, 2008
I spent my childhood in South Dakota, traveling around Europe intermittently through the years, culminated by one year of High School in Denmark as an Exchange Student. I learned to speak Danish which enabled me to later get a double major in International Studies and Acting at the University of Denver. My Senior year in College I auditioned for the top 10 Acting schools in the U.S.. I got accepted into Temple University on a full ride scholarship. Temple accepts 8 students every three years. I studied exclusively with seven of the most talented and well rounded people I have ever met. We spent three years in a cocoon being shaped by the most dedicated and known people in their respected fields. The last year we did a showcase in NYC and LA after which I moved to NYC. I had a lot of interest from four of the top Agencies there (Paradigm, Don Buchwald, Bret Adams and Harden Curtis). After seven months in NYC I got a call from Lovett Management to come to LA for a meeting. I had already met Jason Kim but had not met Steve Lovett. About 10 minutes into our meeting Steve stopped, looked at Jason and said, “Well, I don’t know about you, but I’m in. What do you think, Adrian?” I packed my bags, bought a car, and moved to LA within the month.

After a little visit to NYC….
By adrianlynn | March 20, 2008
I am inspired by New York , as many people are…The struggle of every day, the rats and people you bump into on the street. Ah, the variety on every corner. Just surviving every day is romantic to me in New York.
I have a little spot for people to check out on Msn.com under pop of the day (March 14th) check it out and let me know what you think!

Adrian’s First Post
By adrianlynn | March 6, 2008
“What’s in a name? That which we will call a rose. By any other word would smell as sweet.”
-Shakespeare
I feel compelled to explain how I came to define myself from under the confines of my already taken birth name (by SAG). ‘Jenny Dempster’ and into ‘Adrian Lynn’.
I have been understood by two great men in my life. My Grandfather, Adrian, and my Father, Thomas Adrian. I have often inspired patience in them as they loved and guided me in the right direction. Somehow over the years we have found a way to constantly be inspired by the other. I was recently told that a soul is said to have the ability to split. I believe one has. And so Adrian. Lynn is my birth middle name and speaks for the feminine influence of my mother. My mother has given me the strength to be soft. And so it is, Adrian Lynn.
